2 year old Free Early Education Entitlement

What is 2 year old FEEE?

Following on from the success of FEEE for 3 and 4 year olds, the Government is offering the same entitlement for 2 year olds who meet the eligibility criteria.

The provision of FEEE enables all eligible 2 year old children to receive 570 hours each year of free childcare. This can be taken for a minimum of 38 weeks, which is equivalent to 15 hours each week, or can be stretched across 51 weeks.

Children are entitled to a maximum of 10 hours per day, which may be available between the hours of 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week.

Children can access this funding from the term after their 2nd birthday, up until the term after their 3rd birthday, when they will be able to access the FEEE for 3 and 4 year olds.
