Because we know that breastfeeding gives your baby the best possible start and offers health benefits to mums and babies, we want to make sure you are supported to breastfeed for as long as you want to. The information on this page is designed to signpost you to information and support for breastfeeding. Don’t forget, your midwife or health visitor are available to support you with breastfeeding and there are many groups and clinics in Leeds where you can get support too.

Breastfeeding Friendly Venues

The Breastfeeding Friendly campaign is about supporting breastfeeding mothers. We can all play a part in giving babies in Leeds the best possible start.

The Breastfeeding Friendly Venues directory (PDF, 273KB) features businesses and outlets in Leeds that have committed to providing you with a welcoming, comfortable and spacious environment in which to breastfeed your child when you’re out and about.
